The [NanoLumens](http://www.nanolumens.com/7-ways-digital-signage-is-essential-to-your-commercial-office) blog describes how digital displays are easier to use, when compared to other standard forms of communication, “With a large format digital display, there’s no need to bombard staff with emails across a room. Instead, put your group messaging up on a screen that everyone can see.” From posting production figures to data feeds to HR memos to important safety information, there are many pieces of pertinent content that employees need to review on a daily basis. “With digital signage, sales information can easily be shared with the rest of the staff. Charts, graphs, and spreadsheets can easily be created on the computer and shared on communal screens to validate company-wide efforts and also, to encourage and motivate growth. Marketing teams can showcase current campaigns and promotions with co-workers who in turn get inspired and contribute their own ideas and thoughts. Creativity and inspiration can come from anywhere,” states Alyx Lofton from [FriendMedia](https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/corporate-communication-office-alyx-lofton?trk=hp-feed-article-title-share). The beauty and genius of digital displays: **the information can be delivered to masses instantly with the quick click of a button.** However, the overall solution will not happen overnight. There must be a strategy put into place before the digital displays are installed, because updated and applicable content is key. Jude Carter, director of marketing for the Marlin Company and [Digital Signage Connection](http://www.digitalsignageconnection.com/fundamentals-effective-workplace-digital-signage) contributor, explains, “Digital signage is a 24/7 medium. Keeping the content fresh, relevant, on-strategy and graphically appealing requires management - of content providers and play lists.” It should come as no surprise that corporations of all sizes are turning to smart platforms that allow their content to be delivered quickly and effortlessly to employees. As [onsign.tv](https://onsign.tv/en/blog/digital-signage-corporate-communication/) explains, “Modern digital signage systems keep \[the\] workforce aware of updated information from different departments. It’s a great tool for companies to improve employees’ engagement, to enhance internal marketing and even to lower turnover rates.” However, it is imperative to note that not all work spaces are created equal! Certain location areas will require some sort of protection to the LCD and media player driving the content.  ### **2 Popular LCD Protection Trends in Workplace Digital Signage** ### ![OFFICE COMPANY DIGITAL SIGNAGE ITSENCLOSURES VIEWSTATION](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/hs-fs/hubfs/OFFICE_COMPANY_DIGITAL_SIGNAGE_ITSENCLOSURES_VIEWSTATION.jpg?width=325&name=OFFICE_COMPANY_DIGITAL_SIGNAGE_ITSENCLOSURES_VIEWSTATION.jpg "OFFICE COMPANY DIGITAL SIGNAGE ITSENCLOSURES VIEWSTATION")Protective LCD Covers When installing LCD monitors in office buildings, it may be desirable to use a protective LCD cover to conceal the display, media player and bothersome cables. LCD covers are often available to mount directly to the wall, eliminating the need for a separate, cumbersome wall mount. Clean and protective LCD covers also serve as a way to incorporate custom colors and logo branding to match any company’s marketing scheme. Plus, areas of blank “real estate” will always be beneficial for additional messaging. ### Environmental LCD Enclosures Some workplaces are not granted the leisure of a controlled office environment and will require additional protection, for the electronics, that is afforded by an environmental LCD enclosure.  LCD enclosures are available in a number of sizes depending on the dimensions of the screen. The enclosures have varying protection to keep the LCD safe from harm, whether it be a careless employees or dirt and debris. Thermal management also comes into play when deciding on the proper enclosure. Fans, air conditioning units, or heaters may be utilized to keep the enclosure at the right operating temperatures for normal LCD operation. Determining the room or office’s ambient temperature and how much heat the LCD will produce are very important when researching the perfect enclosure for a work environment.  Keeping employees informed will improve safety, morale, productivity and performance through effective workplace digital displays. “No matter how organizations are delivering information, the truth is that **digital signage is a great tool for engaging employees**. It attracts employees’ attention through dynamic real-time messages and helps enterprises to develop effective internal communications,” [onsign.tv](https://onsign.tv/en/blog/digital-signage-corporate-communication/) continues, “It is clear that digital signage for corporate communication is a growing trend for small and large businesses.” [NanoLumens](http://www.nanolumens.com/7-ways-digital-signage-is-essential-to-your-commercial-office) defines the growing trend of "going digital" in corporate America and around the globe, “While the adoption of digital displays into the lobby has offered commercial spaces more opportunities for engagement and revenue, now the need for large-format displays has moved beyond the front desk and into the conference rooms of the corporate offices within.” [![Request A Free Quote](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/364008/c24d5245-0ae1-42e7-ba29-dad87e631f55.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/364008/c24d5245-0ae1-42e7-ba29-dad87e631f55) #### **HAVE QUESTIONS?  LET US KNOW HOW WE CAN BEST ASSIST YOU! CONTACT AN 'ITSENCLOSURES EXPERT' AT 1-800-423-9911 -**OR-** SEND US AN EMAIL:  [INFO@ITSENCLOSURES.COM](mailto:INFO@ITSENCLOSURES.COM)** Topics: [LCD Enclosures](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/lcd-enclosures), [Digital Signage](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/digital-signage) ### Subscribe to Email Updates [![](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/hs-fs/hub/364008/file-700434058.jpg?width=343&height=196&name=file-700434058.jpg "Download_Product Catalog_CTA.jpg")](http://www.itsenclosures.com/Download-Product-Information) ### Recent Posts ### Posts by Topic - [Outdoor Digital Signage (36)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/outdoor-digital-signage) - [Computer Enclosures (35)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/computer-enclosures) - [Outdoor Digital Menu Boards (32)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/outdoor-digital-menu-boards) - [Digital Signage (27)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/digital-signage) - [LCD Enclosures (26)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/lcd-enclosures) - [Enclosure Thermal Management (22)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/enclosure-thermal-management) - [NEMA 4X Enclosures (16)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/nema-4x-enclosures) - [Printer Enclosures (12)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/printer-enclosures) - [Computer Enclosure (10)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/computer-enclosure) - [Industrial Enclosures (9)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/industrial-enclosures) - [PC Enclosure (9)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/pc-enclosure) - [Kiosks (6)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/kiosks) - [Rack Mount Enclosure (5)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/rack-mount-enclosure) - [TouchScreen Enclosures (5)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/touchscreen-enclosures) - [Hazardous Area Computer Enclosures (4)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/hazardous-area-computer-enclosures) - [Indoor Digital Signage (3)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/indoor-digital-signage) - [Server Enclosure (3)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/server-enclosure) - [Electrical Enclosure (2)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/electrical-enclosure) - [Gasket (2)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/gasket) - [Industrial Keyboards (2)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/industrial-keyboards) - [Anti-ligature LCD Enclosures (1)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/anti-ligature-lcd-enclosures) - [Digital Menu Boards (1)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog/topic/digital-menu-boards) see all - [Sitemap](http://www.itsenclosures.com//Sitemap) - [Privacy Policy](http://www.itsenclosures.com//Privacy-Policy) - [Terms & Conditions](http://www.itsenclosures.com//Terms--Conditions) [![Facebook](https://www.itsenclosures.com/images/SocIcon-Facebook2.png)](https://www.facebook.com/ITSENCLOSURES-85041578207) [![Twitter](https://www.itsenclosures.com/images/SocIcon-Twitter2.png)](https://twitter.com/itsenclosures) [![YouTube](https://www.itsenclosures.com/images/SocIcon-YouTube2.png)](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxvzSCrmlJJ_pKFnYL6MUpw) [![LinkedIn](https://www.itsenclosures.com/images/SocIcon-LinkedIn2.png)](https://www.linkedin.com/company/itsenclosures) [![Blogger](https://www.itsenclosures.com/images/SocIcon-Blogger2.png)](https://blog.itsenclosures.com/blog) [![Live Chat](https://www.itsenclosures.com/images/SocIcon-LiveChat2.png)](https://www.websitealive9.com/433/operator/guest/gDefault_v2.asp?cframe=login&chattype=normal&groupid=433&websiteid=0&departmentid=0&sessionid_=&iniframe=&ppc_id=&autostart=&proactiveid=&text2chat_info=&loginname=&loginnamelast=&loginemail=&loginphone=&infocapture_ids=&infocapture_values=&dl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.itsenclosures.com%2F%23&loginquestion=) **ITSENCLOSURES 271 Westec Drive, Mt.
